Hematology tests are part of the routine check-up requested by doctors. They are essential for assessing the patient's general health. They play an important role in the diagnosis, monitoring and follow-up of various clinical conditions, such as: anemia, leukemia and other hematological disorders, infections and inflammations.
Just like other diagnostic tests, hematology tests require precision and consistent performance from reagents. Ebram has a range of reagent sets for Ebram analyzers and for some analyzers on the market. Most of the reagent sets contain diluent, lysate, detergent and clean, with each reagent having a specific function in the hematology cell counting process. O thinnerdilution of samples, allowing blood cells to be counted and classified, the lysingwhich is responsible for breaking down red blood cells to release hemoglobin and for solubilizing the cell membrane, allowing for cell counting and differentiation, the detergentis used in some analyzers to clean between one sample and another, and the cleanThe detergent is a cleaning solution used when equipment is shut down and during preventive maintenance. In analyzers that do not use detergent in their routine, cleaning between samples is carried out by diluent.

HEMATOLOGICAL CONTROL:
In addition to reagents, the Ebram Hematology line offers laboratories hematological controls, which are solutions made up of blood cells that simulate a patient sample with known values and are used to guarantee reliable results.
Hematology controls can be 3-part or 5-part, depending on the analyzer used, and are supplied with 3 levels (Low, Normal and High), simulating samples with lower results, normal results and high results. For the 3-part controls, in addition to the 3-level presentation, we offer a presentation with 3 vials of the normal level only, for laboratories whose standard is to use only the normal level as quality control.
