Coagulation tests are fundamental in diagnosing the ability of patients' blood to form clots and are therefore widely used in clinical laboratories and hospitals to assess hemostasis, helping to identify possible bleeding and thrombotic disorders in the screening and pre-surgery phase.
With the launch of the Coagulation Line, Ebram expands its portfolio of reagents and analyzers and now offers a complete, ready-to-use line comprising the main products of a coagulogram.
The line's distinguishing feature is that, in addition to the reagents, it offers two pieces of equipment that are important differentials for the market: the EBCOAG AUTO, which is automatic, and the EBCOAG 4.0, which is semi-automatic.

The reagents are all ready to use, offer practicality in routine operation and greater stability after opening, as well as optimum precision and reproducibility.
EBCOAG PT - Prothrombin: is a reagent for screening for deficiency of exogenous clotting factors and monitoring oral anticoagulants, used to assess the blood's ability to clot. It has 2 presentations to best meet laboratory demand.
Presentations:
EBCOAG aPTT - Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time: index for screening endogenous coagulation factors and clinical monitoring of heparin application. It is used to assess blood coagulation, which can be altered as a result of genetic or acquired diseases, or due to medication.
Presentation:
EBCOAG TT - Thrombin Time: reagent that evaluates fibrinogen deficiencies and thrombin inhibitors, used in the detection of independent risk factors for arterial thrombosis, screening indicators and monitoring of hemorrhagic diseases. Used to aid in the diagnosis of diseases such as: Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC), Fibrinolysis and Hepatic Cirrhosis.
Presentation:
EBCOAG FIB - Fibrinogen: is intended for monitoring secondary fibrinolysis and assessing abnormal anticoagulant substances. Its use evaluates fibrinogen levels during screening, diagnosis and monitoring of coagulation disorders, liver diseases and thrombosis risks. A calibrator is included in the kit.
Presentation:
Plasma Control: are used to guarantee the quality of coagulation tests. There are two levels of controls, Level I (normal) and Level II (pathological). They complete the product line and provide the clinical laboratory with reliability in determining coagulation times.

Meet the Analyzers
EBCOAG 4.0
Less maintenance and more savings
EBCOAG 4.0 is a semi-automatic analyzer used for TP, TTPa, TT and FIB parameters.
It has automatic pipetting detection, greater precision and eliminates the need for an attached pipette, being triggered by a sensor that detects when the reagent is added. One of its advantages is the greater freedom to use any calibrated pipette in the laboratory, as it has no attached pipette. In this way, the test becomes more precise and the equipment's operation is not dependent on the pipette, which can fail after a long period of use.
EBCOAG 4.0 has 4 independent measuring channels and 25 thermostatic positions at 37ºC, including 4 reagent positions, 6 positions for pre-incubating samples and 15 positions for pre-incubating cuvettes.
It uses an optical analysis method that guarantees more accurate and safer results. It has a built-in printer, software in Portuguese and a storage capacity of more than 800,000 results, providing an extensive database.
EBCOAG AUTO
Automate small routines
EBCOAG Auto is an automatic analyzer for TP, TTPa, TT and FIB parameters, capable of performing 50 tests per hour.
It is an analyzer developed to serve the niche market of small and medium-sized laboratories that still have a small coagulation routine, but enough to seek automation, modernizing and evolving from a semi-automatic analyzer to an automatic analyzer.
It has 5 sample positions and 6 reagent positions, with an inclined reagent rack to avoid waste and ensure maximum use of reagents. A smaller volume of reagent is used per test when compared to the manual method, which also guarantees a reduction in the cost per test.
The analysis method is optical, with a sample needle equipped with a level sensor and a constant heating function to prevent cross-contamination, also including a STAT function for emergency samples and a compact, space-saving design.
EBCOAG AUTO will bring greater productivity to the laboratory with low investment, being extremely precise and providing even greater security and reliability in the results obtained.
Advantages of the Ebram Coagulation Line
The quality of the products, equipment and services offered by Ebram is our trademark, widely recognized by the laboratories and professionals who already use our products and know in practice our great advantage in the market. It's no different with the Coagulation Line: our reagents and analyzers offer a complete coagulation line and the certainty that laboratories will have quality products, with more peace of mind and security to optimize their routines.
The main advantage of EBCOAG 4.0 is that it doesn't have an attached pipette like most semi-automatic equipment on the market. This means that the reading starts automatically by photodetection after the reagent is added, as well as reducing maintenance and pipette calibration costs.
EBCOAG AUTO offers the possibility of automating small routines at low cost, bringing greater productivity to small and medium-sized laboratories without major investments.
