A 5-part hematology analyzer has impacts on the laboratory ranging from increased productivity to increased accuracy. It also eliminates manual counting or increases the quantity of samples and speeds up the release of results. This is reflected in the increased demand for analyzers by laboratories undergoing change, whether due to increased demand or even the modernization of the company.
With this in mind, Ebram is launching two new analyzer models, the EB6000 and EB8000, which meet the needs of laboratories of all sizes.
The analyzers are able to automate the routine and also reduce operating costs. This is because they have intelligent maintenance systems, which reduce the need for frequent interventions, as well as using nationally produced reagents, which contributes to lower costs per test.
Below, you'll find out more about the advantages and benefits that each of these Ebram launches has to offer, as well as the different advancement interests that the labs have in mind. Check them out below!
EB6000 - Semi-Automatic Hematology Analyzer
5 parts
Presentation
O EB6000 is a 5-part, semi-automatic Hematology Analyzer, which uses flow cytometry and laser scattering for leukocyte counting and differential analysis, with impedance for RBC and PLT and colorimetry for HGB measurement with cyanide-free reagent.
Compact and efficient, for laboratories looking to modernize and increase productivity.
The EB6000 has a processing speed of 60 samples per hourIt uses a volume of 20 µL of sample per analysis and reports 29 parameters. The device also generates three 2D scattergrams for differential and three histograms for WBC, RBC and PLT.
In addition, the novelty offers 3-Diff and 5-Diff test modes, as well as RRBC analysis mode for pathological samples.
Data Maintenance and Storage
The equipment is easy to maintain, with automatic fault and error removal, clog prevention, a self-check function for status and reagents, an intelligent maintenance system and reminders for the user to carry out routine maintenance.
It has stand by and is capable of storing up to 50,000 results, including numerical and graphical data.
Reagents
Uses only 3 reagents:
29 Parameters
● 4 search parameters: ALY%, IG%, ALY# and IG#.
Differentials
One of its main differentials is the ability to irradiate blood cells at different angles, combined with staining and flow cytometric analysis technology. This makes it possible to obtain detailed information on cell size, internal structure and particulate material.
Thus, the analyzer:
The end result is more reliable and safer information for clinical diagnosis.
Another differential is the scatter graphs generated by the equipment from the test results to provide warning messages, suggesting the use of RRBC mode to retest pathological samples, which guarantees greater accuracy in the results.
EB8000 - Automatic Hematology Analyzer
5 parts
Presentation
The EB8000 is an automatic hematology analyzer which combines laser scattering, chemical dye and flow cytometry for leukocyte counting and differential analysis, with impedance for RBC and PLT and colorimetry for HGB measurement with cyanide-free reagent.
80 tests per hour, for laboratories looking to automate their routine to increase productivity
The EB8000 processes 80 samples per hour in automatic mode and 60 samples per hour in manual mode, and allows continuous loading of up to 60 sample tubes. In addition, the device requires only 20µL of sample and can analyze whole blood, capillary and pre-diluted samples. It reports 29 parameters via a 3D scattergram, three 2D scattergrams, a 2D histogram for differential and three histograms for WBC, RBC and PLT.

Data Maintenance and Storage
The EB8000 is easy to maintain, with automatic fault and error removal. It also has a single high-precision, long-life syringe, clog prevention and automatic daily maintenance. Contains stand by and is capable of storing up to 100,000 results, including numerical and graphical data.
Reagents
Uses only 4 reagents:
29 Parameters
Graphics
Differentials
One of its main differentiators is the multi-angle laser scattering analysis technology, combined with three key techniques, which collects and analyzes precise information on cell size, intracellular structure and granularity. This makes it possible to reliably achieve five-part differentiation, tracking down abnormal lymphocytes and large immature cells, providing significant information for detailed clinical diagnoses.
Micro-level blood distribution technology ensures accurate results for both peripheral blood samples and diluted and capillary blood samples.

General Summary:
Advantages of the EB6000 and EB8000
The EB6000 and EB8000 units meet the different needs of laboratories, as they have different characteristics and capabilities. The transition from a 3-part analyzer to a semi-automatic 5-part analyzer increases throughput and accuracy, reducing the risk of operational errors and speeding up the release of results. The transition from a semi-automatic to a fully automatic system, on the other hand, has the effect of increasing productivity by up to 33%, since the automatic analyzer has a magazine for up to 60 samples, an automatic homogenizer and an internal barcode, and performs 80 tests per hour. In this way, Ebram enables laboratories to choose a model that most accurately meets their routines and needs.
Another advantage is the security of having Ebram equipment, i.e. equipment that has undergone rigorous curation with quality criteria taken seriously at every stage of the project, from development to monitoring the equipment in the laboratory routine.
